Hydrogen Peroxide

The aqueous hydrogen peroxide is an effective disinfectant that when applied on the pathogen infected surface inactivates or destroys the pathogens. This solution is also applied to ensure that the infection doesn’t spread. This is an unstable liquid that appears colourless at room temperature. This solution also has medicinal and industrial applications. It is widely used in paper and textile industries for bleaching purpose. Chemical and rubber industries use this solution in the production of organic chemicals and foam rubber. At low temperature when it is stabilized, it turns into crystalline solid. Large blue cans are used for packing liquid hydrogen peroxide.
